Wilma C. Wells, 83, of New Boston

Wilma C. Wells, 83, of New Boston

Mrs. Wilma C. Wells, age 83, of New Boston, Ohio passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at SOMC Hospice. She was born in Ironton, Ohio, to the late Carl Moses Jarvis and Edna Marie Jarvis. Mrs. Wells was an excellent homemaker. She is remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.

Mrs. Wells is survived by her husband of almost 66 years, Randall Wells; daughter, Linda (Curt) Brock; son, Philip Wells; four grandchildren, Kimberly (Jamey) Harr, Shawna (Nick) Huffman, Jeremy (Julie) Hatfield & Randy Wells, Jr.; eight great-grandchildren, Alex, Hannah, Mason, Logan, Liam, Griffin, Weston and Ashton; brothers, Carl Jarvis, Herb Jarvis; sisters, Loretta (William) Spriggs, Laura (Dave) Richards, and Brenda Howard; and many, many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Randy Wells, and five siblings, Larry Jarvis, Russell “Elwood” Jarvis, Betty “Sis” Lewis, Edward Jarvis, & Norma Moore.

Going Home Service will be held at First Apostolic Church (2502 Grandview Ave, Portsmouth, Ohio) on May 21, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. conducted by Pastor Tony Knittel, under the direction of the D.W. SWICK – NELSON FUNERAL HOME in New Boston. Visitation will be held prior to the service at the church from 12:00 pm to 2:00 p,m. Burial will take place at Sunset Gardens in Franklin Furnace.
