Officers were called to the Wayne Hills Rental Office at 1:30 pm for a report of a wandering child. The caller said they had a four-year-old in the office who didn’t know where he lived.
He did know his name and told police his ‘mommy was sleeping.’
Officers were able to contact the mother who came to get the boy. She said he’d somehow learned to unlock the door.
Police gave her advice on how to secure the door and released the child into her custody.
