A man was arrested for domestic violence after an assault at a Thomas Avenue apartment. A woman contacted police at 6:22 pm to report that Christon Harding, 26, had assaulted her son.
She said her son had a large knot on the side of his head. The woman said Harding had been inside the apartment, but they had finally got him out.
Police arrived on the scene eight minutes later and took the man into custody on a charge of domestic violence. He was later released from the Scioto County Jail on his own recognizance.
Suspicious Vehicle Spotted on Chateau Drive
A Chateau Drive resident reported a suspicious vehicle on the street just before 11 pm.
The man said a vehicle had driven up to his house and then back down the road multiple times. He said he had video of the sedan pulling into his driveway.
The vehicle pulled forward and reversed multiple times, left for a while, and then returned to his driveway.
At that point, the resident came out of the home and followed the vehicle to get the license number.
Officers took information for a report and said they would patrol the area to look for anything suspicious.
