The best Criminal Justice degrees available online.

The number of colleges that now offer online degree programs has risen to almost 500 this year, a 700 percent increase in five years. The number of full-time students enrolled at those institutions reached a record 1.9 million, according to a new report by the National Center for Education Statistics. When we ranked these top online options for Criminal Justice we weighed three factors. 1) Access (can you complete the degree completely online) 2) Cost vs. Return on Investment and 3) Gainful Employment opportunities.

Columbia Criminal Justice

The Columbia Criminal Justice program, located in Columbia, South Carolina, features an innovative and flexible curriculum that allows students to combine online coursework with in-person classes. The program also emphasizes leadership development and the social, cultural, and economic impact of crime.

Students in Columbia study criminal justice at a public, private, and military university. The program allows students to specialize in criminology, criminal justice, and corrections, or criminology. Columbia Criminal Justice also offers an interdisciplinary degree in Health Care Administration.

University of Phoenix

To pursue a criminal justice degree, students can enroll in the University of Phoenix’s Criminal Justice online degree. The University of Phoenix’s Criminal Justice degree has a student-centered approach that combines online learning and in-person classroom instruction.

In the online program, students can take courses offered at Arizona State University. Online courses from the University of Phoenix are accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS). Students at Arizona State University receive a bachelor’s degree in criminology upon completion of all required courses, and students at the University of Phoenix receive a master’s in criminology upon completion of all required courses.

LSU Law

The LSU Law program for criminal justice is designed to prepare students to work in various fields, including law enforcement, public safety, criminal courts, homeland security, corrections, juvenile justice, and medical examiner. The LSU program’s curriculum can be completed either online or in-person, allowing students to study at their own pace. The online program also has the option to incorporate classroom instruction.

Students interested in criminal justice in Louisiana can pursue a bachelor’s degree at LSU Law online. To qualify for the bachelor’s program, students must have earned an associate’s degree or advanced high school diploma and have two years of college credit or four years of grade school, college, or technical education.

University of West Georgia School of Law

The University of West Georgia’s Criminal Justice Program is one of the largest criminal justice programs in the nation, featuring over 20 unique courses of study. The online program is ideal for working professionals who want to advance their careers and pursue an advanced degree.

They have a special program where students can complete their first degree in one year. They can then move on to complete a master’s in criminal justice at another location. The program also offers an online master’s in Justice Administration degree.

University of Central Florida College of Law

The University of Central Florida College of Law offers an online criminal justice degree program. Students can receive a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or a minor in criminal justice upon graduation.

Students who successfully complete the program will be eligible for admission to the Master of Laws in Criminal Justice program at the UCF College of Law. The program allows for minors in other areas of law, such as tax law and business, so long as they meet the UCF College of Law’s academic requirements for entry into the program.

As a bonus, during our research for this article, we’re adding some other easy Degrees to get online that checks the same 3 boxes as above.
