Tara was a devout Christian, a member of Rubyville Community Church where she loved to worship and fellowship.  Anyone that knew her, knew she loved God and her family with all of her heart.  She will be greatly missed by all those that knew her.  This time is hard and our hearts are burdened, but we will hold true to her favorite verse, “I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.” He will be our strength now and in the coming days.

Tara is survived by her husband, Dan Claypool whom she married July 8, 2002, her children; Sabrina (Tim) Amburgey of Lucasville, Tabitha (Josh) Powell of Lucasville, Israel (Tara) Brady of Otway, and Bethany (Chad) McNutt of McDermott, 2 stepsons; Danny (June) Claypool Jr. and Dustin (Stephanie) Claypool, 16 grandchildren; Dylan and Evan Amburgey, Jaxon and Haden Powell, Kilan and Bella Brady, Malachi and Abigail McNutt, Whitney, Faith, Kennedy, Tommi, Liam, Maddie, Judah, and Gabe Claypool, a brother, Richard (Teresa) Arthur of Wheelersburg, a sister, Linda (Mike) Carrier of Circleville, a brother-in-law, Rickie Oxyer of Huber Heights, along with several different foster grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, April 24, 2021, at Rubyville Community Church with Calvin Ray Evans and Brian Baer officiating and interment in Worley’s Run Cemetery.  Friends may call at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth on Friday from 5 to 8:00 PM and at the church on Saturday starting at 11:00 AM.  The family request that donations be made to SOMC Hospice in memory of Tara.  Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.
