At 1:24 am, a caller reported the same man in Tracy Park. Again, officers could not locate him.

However, 20 minutes later, an officer caught up with him at Hot Head Burritos. The man was able to tell the officer the day, month, and year and pass a sobriety test. Police advised him to stop screaming.

Stranger At My Door

Another person with whom police have frequent contact raised a ruckus on Walnut Street at 4:26 am. A caller said the woman was on her front porch asking for help and banged on the door.

The woman left but left her belonging on the porch. Officers responded to the scene and took the woman and a man with an outstanding warrant into custody.

Parking Crackdown

  • Police towed a vehicle parked on the grass on Sunrise Avenue at 6:58 am.
  • A Coles Blvd business asked PPD to tow a vehicle parked on their lot. Police arranged for a tow
  • Officers issued a 72-hour citation for a vehicle parked more than a week at 16th and Kinneys. A tow truck took the car away. Police also cited and towed 2 other vehicles for the same offense.
  • Just after noon, over on Franklin Avenue, officers issued three parking citations and towed two vehicles.

Under The Influence

Officers checked on a man inside a red car parked on Jackson Avenue at 8:30 am. Police said he was disoriented. An ambulance transported him to the hospital. Police destroyed a marijuana pipe found in the vehicle.

Stranger Seen At Toddler’s Window

A worried mom contacted the police at 1:34 pm. She said her 3-year-old daughter told her people had looked into her bedroom window at her Farley Court apartment and watched her.

Police found no physical evidence of a crime but did speak to the apartment manager and asked them to install safety clips on the window.

Officers told the mom to call them if she sees anything suspicious.

Dog Attack

A 12th Street caller reported a loose dog attacked his dog. The animal was currently behind his home.

An officer responded to the scene and put the dog in a cruiser. Police transported the dog to the city garage and waited for Animal Control to take custody.

Baby Choking

Officers responded to a report of a baby choking on 9th Street at 9:25 pm. By the time police arrived the baby had stopped choking.

The parent believed the child cut her mouth on something.
