Steven “Dink” Blair, 57, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, May 1, 2021, at home in Portsmouth. Dink was born May 4, 1963, in Columbus to the late Lawrence and Bernice Horn Blair. He is also preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Curtis Blair, cousin, Tim Horn, and a great-grandson, Jaxson. Dink loved OSU sports, Miami Dolphins football, NASCAR, and dirt track racing.
Dink is survived by the love of his life, Debra Blair; three sons, Jason Blair of Portsmouth, Stephen Burchett of Portsmouth, Shawn (Amy) Burchett of Wellston; two daughters, Kristen Blair of Lucasville; Rebecca (Joey) Adkins of Reynoldsburg; his loving grandchildren, Neveah, Abbie, Gunner, Jacob, Gracie, Joseph, Katelynn, Ashley, Cheyanne, Tyler, Miranda, and his great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Colton, Makenlee, Lynleigh, Isabella; his brother, John (Shirley) Blair of Wheelersburg; three sisters, Roberts (Roger) Allgood of Otway, Pamela (Teddy) McCleese of Wheelersburg, Rowena “Dee” Ferrell of Leesburg, FL, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 6, 2021, at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford. Burial will be at Bailey Chapel in Wakefield.
