Rosalie Catherine Montavon, 79 of West Portsmouth, died Monday, June 20, 2022, at SOMC Hospice. She was born October 7, 1942, in Cincinnati to the late Louis Anthony and Clara Orlett. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Leroy Montavon, whom she married on February 11, 1961, with 2 brothers: Robert and David Orlett, and 2 grandchildren: Gabriel Holsinger and Tessa Queen.
Rosalie was the Owner and Operator of Wrights Farm Center in Portsmouth. She was also a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
She is survived by a son, Matthew (Beth) Montavon, 5 daughters: Christina (Jeff) Moore, Karen (Mike) Queen, Sharon (Mike) Blankenship, Catherine (Wes) Powell, and Charlene Montavon, a brother, Charles Orlett, 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, June 24, 2022, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Interment in Holy Trinity Cemetery. Friends may call at the church starting at 10:00 AM.
