Robert Joseph “Bob” Lawson, 58, of Sciotoville passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022, at home. He was born October 10, 1963, in Ironton, a son of the late Ernest and Alma Faye (Eldridge) Lawson.
Bob was a 1982 graduate of South Webster High School and was of the Baptist Faith. He was retired from Laborers Local 1445 in Ashland, KY.
He is survived by his ex-wife, Diana Lawson of Wheelersburg; two sons, Joshua Q. Duncan of McDermott, Landon J. McGowan of Portsmouth; a daughter, April D. Duncan of Dayton; three granddaughters, TiAngle L. (Ryan) Horner of Sciotoville, Jade T. (Will) Redmon and Lexi Duncan all of North Carolina, a grandson DeAnglio M. Thompson Jr. of Wheelersburg and four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Danny (Brenda) Lawson of Lucasville, Kenneth Lawson of Wheelersburg and Paul L. Lawson of Mansfield; three sisters, Peggy (Keith) Snyder of Mansfield, Melvery A. Lawson of Franklin Furnace and Donna F Conkel of Wheelersburg, many nephews, and nieces.
He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Roger D. Lawson, Johnny Lawson, Terry W. Lawson, Ernest L. Lawson, and a sister Nina F. Wheeler.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in South Webster with interment to follow at Vernon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 Noon to 1 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
