Keeping You Safe

The library announced a number of precautions to keep patrons safe:

  • All library employees are required to wear masks.
  • A contactless pickup of materials is available.
  • Employees are maintaining six feet of social distance between each other and from patrons.
  • The library said it will follow all cleaning and disinfecting procedures suggested by the CDC.

Please Wear a Mask

The library is strongly suggested patron wear a mask if they come inside the library. However, it is not a requirement.  It also asked that you not come to the library if you have recently experienced a fever or any other type of symptoms.

Hand sanitizer stations are provided at various locations throughout the buildings.

Other Options

If you feel safer avoiding human contact, place holds for materials online at www.yourppl.org or call the library branch. You will be notified when the items are ready and can schedule a pickup time. Pickup is available between 10 am and 11 am at all locations on any day the library is open.

The library also offers electronic delivery of eBooks, music, and video through apps like Overdrive and Hoopla.
