Portsmouth Police Officers assisted in the search for a missing Cincinnati woman on Wednesday night.
Just after 8:30 pm, Cincinnati Police contacted PPD and asked them to do a welfare check on a woman at a Shawnee Road Address.

Her employer had contacted the police to report that they had not seen or heard from her since the previous Friday. She had not contacted anyone in her workplace to explain where she was.
However, her former boyfriend contacted her workplace and told them she would be coming in.

Her workplace was concerned because they believed the woman had a protection order in place against the man.
Police checked the home, but there was no response.
