A Harding Avenue resident flagged down an officer to report a suspicious person in the area. She told police someone stole several packages from her porch recently. While leaving for work, she spotted a suspicious woman leaning on a pole in the neighborhood.
When officers located the woman, they recognized her from an earlier incident when she overdosed, and officers had to fight to restrain her. They discovered there was an open warrant for the woman from the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office.
Police took her into custody on a probation violation charge for a DUI. An officer dropped off her belongings at her home.
