Both Portsmouth Police and Shawnee State Police responded to the Party Time Bar on 4th Street after a person with a gun was reported fighting with patrons.
The subject was described as wearing a gray T-shirt, black shorts, and the gun.
Officers were able to locate the suspect’s possible address. They knocked on the door of the apartment on campus. They knocked on the door of the apartment on campus. The female who answered said she had not been out at the bars and had no idea what they were talking about.
It was noted, however, that the vehicle witnesses described was certainly the one parked in the designated area.
Witnesses scattered quickly and “nobody stuck around to file an aggravated menacing report”.
