Paul C. Fannin, 73, of Jackson, Ohio, died April 23, 2021, in his home.
Born February 7, 1948, in Paintsville, Kentucky, a son of the late Gerald Fannin and Adaline Reed Fannin, he graduated Paintsville High School in 1966 and later became a pipefitter and member of the Pipefitters Local 248 in Ashland, Kentucky.
Paul devoted much of his time and energy to his love of music. Before his death, he had written hundreds of songs, had helped many others to record their own music in his recording studio (Studio 1), and had never found an instrument he couldn’t play. He was incredibly creative with an imagination that reached past the stars.
Mr. Fannin is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Minigh (David), brother, Roger Fannin (La Vonne), granddaughter, Julia Cardot (Rich), and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Adaline Fannin, father, Gerald Fannin, and brother, Gerald (Jerry) Fannin.
A private graveside service was held Saturday, May 8th at Mountain Ridge Cemetery in Jackson, Ohio. Arrangements were under the direction of Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford. Online condolences may be sent to www.edafh.com.
