Things spun out of control between a married couple just after 10:30 pm. PPD responded to the scene after a woman reported her husband threw hot oatmeal on her. She wanted him to leave the property.

When officers arrived at the home, they discovered both parties were intoxicated. However, neither one of them wanted to file charges.

The couple’s children were asleep in bed, so the man said he would leave the home. The woman said her mother would stay with them to look after her and the children.

Pranksters Annoy Residents

Just after midnight, a caller reported two people on her porch banging on her front door. When an officer checked the home security video, they observed what appeared to be kids banging on the side of her house and then running to hide in the bushes.

The officer said they would keep an eye out for the kids.

Ten minutes later, deputies responded to Enid Drive for a report that kids were taking construction equipment in the area and leaving it in odd places. An officer discovered a construction barrel on top of a light post.

He was able to take it down and return it to the construction site.
