A Portsmouth mother contacted police to complain about her out-of-control teen daughter just after 3 pm. The woman said the teenage girl, who was already on probation, was out running around with a 19-year-old boy and refused to come home. The girl eventually agreed to come home.
Officers advised the teen that if she didn’t come home when she was supposed to, charges could be filed against her.
Two hours later, another concerned parent contacted police to report his daughter was ‘talking crazy,’ refused to give him his car keys, and busted his TV. He put the daughter’s stuff out of the home, but she refused to return her key.
Officers stood by while the woman collected her things and voluntarily left the scene.
