A feisty nursing home resident punched an unwanted bedmate in the groin after an apparent bed mix-up at Portsmouth, Ohio, care facility.
An elderly man apparently got confused about which room he was in and got into bed with a female resident.
When the unwanted visitor climbed into her bed, the woman pinched him. The man responded by hitting her, and she struck back by hitting him in the groin.
Police took information for a report.
Asleep at the Wheel on River Road
Portsmouth Police responded to a report of a woman slumped over the wheel of a van at the Shawnee Boat Club on River Road at 2:24 pm.
An ambulance transported the woman to the hospital, and police arranged to have the vehicle towed. Police served a summons on the woman for possessing a drug abuse instrument.
