Nicholas “Nik” Joseph Newman, 36, of Otway, passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at his residence. He was born on January 16, 1986, in Portsmouth to Randy Newman, Sr., and Bobbie (Kevin) Fields Perdue of Rarden.
In October 2021 he was united in marriage to Kati Hall Newman who survives. Also, surviving are his children; Bryson and Brentlee; stepchildren, Kaylence, Kenden and Kanon; Brother, Randy (Heather) Newman of Rarden; Step Grandmother, Patricia Perdue of Otway and many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
In addition to his father, Nik was preceded in death by his grandparents; Clarence and Mary Fields and John Otto and Audrey Newman.
Arrangements are currently pending at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway. The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
