Two 29th Street neighbors got spitting mad in a fight about a dog just after 3:30 pm.
One man told police he got into an argument with his neighbor over a dog and the neighbor tried to spit on him. She missed, but he still wanted officers to speak with her about the conduct.
The woman told police the man threw beer at first, and she spat at him in retaliation. Officers noted that the man appeared to be intoxicated.
Neither party wanted to press charges. Police advised everyone involved to behave.
Tot Spotted Wandering Half-Naked on Jackson Avenue
At 11:22 am, a witness called police to report a small child wearing only a diaper and some big shoes wandering around unsupervised on Jackson Avenue.
By the time officers arrived on the scene, the child was back inside of its home.
Police spoke to the father and advised him that if the child was seen wandering alone again, they would notify Scioto County Children Services about the issue.
