Worried family searches for missing Chillicothe teen

The Chillicothe Police Department and worried family members are searching for a missing 15-year-old boy. Sean Swiger, of Chillicothe, was last seen in Chillicothe on Sunday near Main St. and Brownell St.

The teen is Caucasian with blonde hair. Police say he was wearing grey sweatpants, a camo sweatshirt with an orange hood, and grey shoes. He may be headed to the Hillsboro, Ohio area.

His worried great-aunt, Loyce Davis, said in a public Facebook post that he left home around 3:40 pm and hasn’t been seen since. From Mrs. Davis’ post, it appears the boy lives with her. She said, “I’m worried about him I pray that he is alright and safe and comes back home soon.”

Though it appears that Sean left home voluntarily, runaway teenagers are still at high risk and often become victims of crimes. It’s important to find them and return them home as soon as possible.

If you have any information about Sean’s whereabouts, call the Chillicothe Police Department at 740-773-1191. You can also email tips to the investigating officer at traevon.williams@chillicotheoh.gov
