Martha P. Gilkerson, 80, of South Shore, Kentucky, passed away Feb. 28, 2021 in SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, Aug. 31, 1940, a daughter of the late James Wylie Henderson and Rose Jesse Henderson. Honey was the longtime owner operator of South Shore Video.
Preceded in death by her husband, Ed Gilkerson, son, Jim Stockham, grandson, Greg Jordan, sisters, Jeannie Carver and Margaret Ehrhart, brother, Bernie Henderson.
Surviving are one daughter, Eva (Sis) Mcneely of Lucasville, Ohio, two sons, Kenny Dale (Heather Ryan-Campbell) Stockham of Toledo, Ohio, Joe (Patty) Stockham of South Shore, Kentucky, one brother, Mitchell Henderson of Frankfort, Kentucky, one sister, Linda Gibson of Michigan, several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Rev. Kenneth W. Potter, officiating. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery, South Shore, Kentucky. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, March 5, 2021 from 6 till 8 p.m. and from 11 a.m. till the service hour on Saturday. Due to Covid restrictions face coverings and social distancing are required.
