A man called 9-1-1 when the Four Keys Inn on the Scioto Trail told him there was no room for him at the Inn. He complained to police that the hotel had refused to rent him a room just after midnight.

Hotel employees weren’t particularly pleased with him either. They called the police to complain that they told him to leave the property, but he had refused.

Portsmouth Police Officers headed to the scene to diffuse the situation. They settled it by offering the man a ride to the Royal Inn on Kendall Avenue. An officer dropped the guy off at the hotel just before 1 am.
