Layden Dale Adkins, of West Portsmouth, died Friday, February 26, 2021, at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born February 26, 2021, in Portsmouth to Shane Douglas Adkins and Kiersten C. McNutt. He is preceded in death by great-grandfather Ralph Dale McNutt “Jr”. Layden was already loved by so many people especially his mom and dad.
Along with his parents, he is survived by his grandparents; Alisha (Benito) Blancas, Tina McCleese (Jamie McKenzie), Great grandparents; Johnna Lancaster, Sherry McNutt, and Doris McKenzie, Great great grandparents; Sam McAlister, and Jackie Johnson. Uncles; Brandon and Nradey McKenzie, Cristian Blancas, and Dacota Wetmore, Aunts; MaKayla McKenzie, Layla McCleese, Chloe McNutt, Alexianna Blancas, and a special cousin Harper McKenzie.
Funeral services will 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth with Tammy Charles officiating and interment in McKendree Cemetery.
