Kids Trash Spring Street Yard, Damage Car
ShareTweetEmail

Some out-of-control kids trashed a yard and damaged a car on Spring Street.

A resident contacted police at 4:34 pm, to say that some kids came through her yard, damaged planters, and other items, and threw something at her vehicle. She said the vehicle was damaged.  A neighbor had a video of the kids damaging the property.

After checking the scene, officers headed to the Woodbine Apartments to speak with one of the kids. An officer spoke with the child and his grandmother.

The boy admitted he threw a planter at the vehicle and told police the name of the other boy involved in the incident.  Officers got information about the kids involved to give to the victim and advised the kids about such behavior.

Later that evening, police received a report about another problem child on 17th Street. A mom said a 12-year-old girl keeps coming over to their apartment and attempting to get her daughter to come out to fight.

The girl beat up her daughter the previous week and the incident was reported to the police. Officers advised the woman to seek a protection order and notify the PMHA about having the girl barred.
