We’ve told you about multiple incidents involving BB guns in recent months, this time it was a paintball gun causing problems.
Just before 4 pm, a caller reported someone shooting a paintball or BB gun at vehicles on 17th Street. Officers located a juvenile with a splat gun. They noted that the small paintballs probably couldn’t damage anything.
However, they advised the children to shoot paintballs at each other and not at vehicles.
Asleep at the Wheel on Kendall Avenue
Portsmouth Police Officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle just before 2 a.m. A caller said there were loud individuals doing something to a vehicle in a Wayne Hills parking lot and that there appeared to be a man passed out in the vehicle.
When officers arrived at the scene at 2:15 am, they discovered one man asleep in the driver’s seat and another working on the vehicle.
Officers woke the man behind the wheel, who appeared to be okay, and sent both men inside for the night.
