Kenneth Whisman, 73, of Twin Valley

Kenneth R. Whisman, 73, of Twin Valley, died Monday, March 22, 2021, at his home.  Born on March 22, 1948, at home in Twin Valley, he was a son of the late Melford and Nellie Murphy Whisman and was a retired from Norfolk and Southern Railroad with 40 years of service.

Kenny was a lifelong member of the New Boston Eagles Aerie #227 and Sons of the American Legion, and various additional clubs.  He was a lover of Horses and especially enjoyed mudding.

Also preceding him in death were a son, Shawn Whisman, four brothers, James, Donald, Paul and Dennis Ray Whisman and four sisters, Mabel Seagraves, Reda Fannin, Charlotte Lambert and Darlene Bair.

Surviving are his wife, Patty Whisman; two daughters, Tonya (Tony) Whisman-Entler of Lucasville and Michelle (Tony) Whisman Salzbrun of South Webster; two sons, Tracy (Ziggy) Whisman of Marietta, GA and Paul (Alexandria Davis) Whisman of Twin Valley; a brother-in-law, Bill Bair of Lucasville; eight grandchildren, Shawn Matthew Whisman, Sara Entler, Breanna Salzbrun, Anthony Salzbrun, Katrina Whisman, Gabby Whisman, Kinley Whisman, Raelynn Whisman and Bruce Foltz and a special great-granddaughter, Hadley Whisman.

A service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 26th, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE.  Interment will be in McKendree Cemetery.

The family will receive guests at Brant’s after 11:00 a.m. on Friday.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

Masks will be required for admission, but not furnished by the funeral home.  Social distancing will be observed.
