Jimmy Van Bibber, 80, of Sciotoville, passed away on August 9, 2022, in Lima, OH. He was born September 18, 1941, a son of the late Cebert and Myrtle Van Bibber. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and enjoyed photography and collecting most anything.
Bert is survived by a daughter, Susanne Bailey of Land O’Lakes, FL; a brother, John (Cheryl) Van Bibber of Lima; two sisters, Jill Van Bibber of Columbus and Imogene Waddle of Akron; four grandchildren, Amberly (Emese) Armstrong, Alex (Lauren) Armstrong of Los Angeles, CA, Blake (McKenzie) Litteral of Clarksburg, OH and Victoria (John) Haney of Odessa, FL; four great-grandchildren, June Litteral, Lincoln Armstrong, Laszlo Armstrong, and Lennon Litteral.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane (Hamilton) Van Bibber, and a son, Marty Van Bibber.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, August 11, 2022, at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME (Wolfe-Nelson Chapel) in Sciotoville with Blake Litteral officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday from 12 Noon to 1 PM at the funeral home.
