An inmate at the county jail made a bizarre break-in report just before 3:30 pm.
The man, who was arrested for the 36th time after police responded to a domestic violence report last weekend, told police that he was informed that a man and woman were breaking into his house. He provided the police with the name of the suspects.
Officers checked with the landlord, who told police the couple had permission to live at the residence. Further, she didn’t know the inmate and he had no business living at the home.
Police found no evidence of any wrongdoing. Interestingly enough, the inmate has a long history of robbery and burglary arrests and is currently on parole after doing time for aggravated robbery.
