How To Set Up “Google My Business” And Maps Listing

If you don’t already have a Google My Business listing set up in your business, it’s easy to do so. There are a couple of steps to this process that I’ll go through here.

First, you’ll have to link your personal Google profile to the My Business one by adding it to your Google profiles.

If you don’t have a personal Google profile set up, it’s easy to do. Just click on your name and sign in with your Gmail account. You can also use your Twitter or Facebook account instead.

Introducing the adorable newcomer to Columbus Zoo. The zoo has named the nine-week-old Asian elephant Frankie. Phoebe, a 33-year-old Asian elephant, gave birth to Frankie on June 16 at 8:48 pm. He appears to be a strong boy according to zoo officials. Shortly after his birth, he began nursing. His name was given to him by a donor family who wishes to remain anonymous. Frankie was named in honor of the family's mother Frances who passed away in November. Frances's family was pleased to name the elephant Frankie in honor of their mother as well as to care for elephants. The Columbus Zoo offers visitors the chance to see Phoebe and Frankie every day between 10 am and 2 pm.

Second, click on the Create Business listing button to get started with the full process.

After that, you’ll be presented with a summary of the process to be used, including the license you’ll need, details of the business’s location, and what type of business (if any) it is.

From here, you can complete the rest of the process by clicking the Continue button and then confirming you’re all set up.

After that, you should be seeing an area called Google My Business on the search results page that says you have a Google My Business listing. You can check this out yourself by typing your business’s name into the search box and then clicking on it. If your listing shows up, you’re done and ready to start promoting your business.  You can do it at no cost.

Add your company on Google Maps, and you will appear within the local search agent results and even GPS.

How to make your business more visible in Google

If you aren’t yet listed in Google My Business, you can also get your business added to the business listing section of the Google Search results by following these steps:

On your personal Google profile, click on the profile icon (the triangle icon) on the top left of your screen and then click on the three vertical dots in the top right-hand corner. Then, select Settings from the drop-down menu and then click on Manage location.

Next, go to the Public Search & My Business options. From the drop-down menu, select Google Search & My Business and then click on Set up and approve. You will then have to fill out a short form with your business information. If you’re unsure of what you’re supposed to do, go ahead and go through the process as instructed.

This section of Google search results is where you should see your business listings. You can either search by entering your business name or simply go to your business listing page.
