Gary loved the United States of America and was a proud United States Air Force veteran and often talked about his time serving in West Germany in the 1960s. After his retirement from Chrysler Corporation, Gary left the Dayton area and returned home to New Boston. Gary enjoyed his home and many hobbies including photography, movies, and Southern Gospel music.

Gary was a true friend and cared deeply about people, more than anything wanting everyone to be saved and receive the forgiveness that only comes from knowing Jesus Christ as Savior.

Gary was a member of Cedar Street Church of Christ in Christian Union, where he faithfully served as a trustee and long-time sound technician.

A memorial service celebrating Gary’s life will be held at the Cedar Street Church of Christ in Christian Union, 4205 Cedar Street, New Boston, on Friday, May 21, 2021, at 1:00 pm, with Rev. Brad Angus and Rev. Gary Heimbach officiating.

Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M.  Interment will follow at Memorial Burial Park, Wheelersburg, Ohio with graveside military honors provided by the James Dickey Post 23, American Legion.

Arrangements made by D.W. Swick Funeral Home of New Boston. Online condolences may be sent to www.DWSwickFuneralHome.com.
