Frederick Haskell Jordan, Jr., 68, of Stockdale, passed Sunday, February 7, 2021, at his residence. He was born June 2, 1952, in Portsmouth, a son of the late Frederick Haskell Jordan, Sr. and Waleta I. Crabtree Jordan. He was former Deputy Sheriff, Township Trustee, and Piketon Police Officer.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Mae Lintz Jordan; six children, Fred (Tara) Jordan, Rachel (Ryan) Compton, Angie (Matthew) Gilliland, Connie (Chad) Adams, Steve (Autumn) Jordan, Michael (Brenda) Jordan; fifteen grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one great-grandchild, Ariya, and one brother.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2021, at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Pastor Pete Shaffer officiating. Burial will be at Stockdale Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from Noon to 2:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the service. Military graveside rites will be conducted by James Irwin Post No. 622 American Legion and William A. Baker Post No. 363. Per CDC guidelines and governor recommendations, everyone is asked to wear a mask and practice proper social distancing procedures and guidelines.
