Ethel "Tootsie" Elaine Timmerman, 73

Ethel “Tootsie” Elaine Timmerman, 73 was gloriously received into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus on February 18, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Libby Ratliff, brothers Herbie Ratliff of Portsmouth and Danny Ratliff of Chillicothe, nieces Beth Ann Weaver of West Portsmouth and Dana Sue Ratliff of Waverly.

Surviving are her two sons, Tony and Kara Bates of Virginia and Tim and LaDonna Bates of Pennsylvania. She has 4 beautiful grandchildren, Brent, Chandler, Laykin, and Drew.

Also surviving are her three sisters Patty and John Weaver of West Portsmouth, Debbie and Fred Volrath of Houston, TX, and Sherry Ratliff Clark of West Portsmouth, and her brother Rick and Janice Ratliff of West Portsmouth and many nieces and nephews who loved her very much.

Tootsie loved all of her family and friends dearly and would do what she could to help those in need.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 24, 2022, from 12-1 PM. Funeral Service at 1 PM, all at F.C. Daehler Mortuary, 915 Ninth Street, Portsmouth, Ohio. The Reverend Rick Ratliff will be officiating with music by The Bates Family.

In lieu of flowers, Tootsie requests that donations be made to her boy’s ministry.
