A dog died after someone shot it through the chest with an arrow on Mohawk Drive. According to social media posts, the dog had been spotted wandering loose in the area but had not seemed aggressive.
Just before 1 pm, deputies were called to the Shawnee Animal for a report of a dog shot in the chest with an arrow. An animal rescue worker discovered the injured animal with an arrow in its chest on Mohawk drive and rushed it to Shawnee Animal Clinic.
