Cynthia K. Collins 72 of Wheelersburg (AKA “The Devil”) went somewhere upon her death. Not sure who won the game between the two or the outcome but we are certain, without a doubt, she got her way as always.

Ms. Cindy met the love of her life Rod Collins in 1967 in Warren, Ohio, and quickly buried her claws in him and they were married in 1968.  She and Rod produced 2 little angels; Christopher E. Collins (KC) of Florida and Tina Kay (Andy) Rase of Wheelersburg, Ohio.

In the years the angels grew up with countless life improvements to etch in the “Cindy” way or “no” way work and life ethic.  She used her powers and ways of persuasion to demand and gain the respect expected, to prepare them for the day they too would have little angels of their own. However, still reminding her own angels that she “still is” and always will be “commander in chief” and if need be, a quick look or a shot to the mouth would remind them.  Thanks to the years of her devil-like heart and personality, through our lives and finding our way’s, Cindy continued to make sure that her now falling angels followed her way of life.  With that being said our mother can now rest, we can hope that she has been reunited with Rod, but giggle with the thought “did dad (Rod) pump the brakes a few times”.

Cindy had 6 grandchildren; Zakary M. Collins, Brandon L. Collins, Tempestt M. Collins, Sean A. Sellers, Meagan A. (Dustin) Williams, and Bryan C. Jordan.

We will forever remember you, forever miss you, and forever hold our memories close.  You “Mom” have given us the strength to move forward knowing we will be ok and our life lessons taught by you will instill the ethics in your grandchildren.

So, when we strike “the match” to close this forever saddening chapter of our lives, know we love you always (from a distance Covid safe).

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth.  Condolences may be sent to www.rogerwdavisfuneralhome.com.

In lieu of flowers and/or gifts, her angels request you to light up a 440 cigarette, drink a dr. pepper, and realize Trump will always be your President and smile.
