Beverly Suter, 72, of Wheelersburg

Beverly Ann Suter, 72, of Wheelersburg, died Thursday, December 10, 2020, at the Southern Ohio Medical Center. Born on September 13, 1948 in Portsmouth, she was a daughter of the late Jack and Ina Salyers Robinson and was retired from the business office of the Ohio Department of Juvenile Corrections.

Beverly was a graduate of Portsmouth High School and Southeastern Business College.  She was an avid animal lover, having the nickname of “Crazy Cat Lady”.  Beverly was always known for her Muu Muu’s and crocs.  She lived every day for her family.

Also preceding her in death were a daughter, Jo Ellen Adkins, a brother, Mark Edward Robinson and a grandson, Derek Adkins.

Surviving are a son, Mark “Bubba” (Gwen) Suter of Wheelersburg; a daughter, Jackie (Jim) Book of Wheelersburg; a sister, Jill Cottrill of Charlotte, NC; eight grandchildren, Eric (Savannah) Adkins, Ashlee (Jay) Carrico, C.J. Adkins, Boyd Suter, Zachary Nagel, Madison Suter, Max Suter and Jadan Book; ten great-grandchildren; a special niece, Ali (Brad) Lacy-Sherrill and a special nephew, Brandon (Jennifer) Lacy.

A service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 14th, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Pastor Mark Price officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park.

The family will receive guests at Brant’s after 11:00 a.m. on Monday.

Memorial contributions may be made to Sierra’s Haven or Cabin Critters Rescue.

Masks will be required for admission, but not furnished by the funeral home.  Social distancing will be observed.
