Officers responded to Alexandria House at 9:47 pm for a report of two men beating each with baseball bats.
Police responding to the scene took Thomas Mueller into custody for making a domestic threat.
This was Muller’s 19th arrest. Previous arrests included multiple counts of probation violation and domestic violence, aggravated menacing, and contempt of court.
Threats at the Royal Inn
Just after 7 am, a guest at the Royal Inn on Kendall Avenue contacted officers to report there were people at the door of his room making threats.
When officers arrived on the scene at 7:22 am, they were unable to locate the person.
At 8:40 am, the man called Portsmouth Police Officers once again to report the people had returned and were continuing to threaten him.
Officers transported the man to the Holiday Inn in order to defuse the situation.
