Troopers Corral Wayward Cows on US 23

With no cowboys available, Ohio State Troopers had to step in to corral some wayward cows on Route 23.

A call reporting loose cows in the road near US 23 and Lowry Hollow Road came in just after 1:30 am.  Dispatch notified the Ohio State Patrol.

Another call came in about 20 minutes later, reporting even more cows on the loose. A Scioto County Sheriff’s Deputy and an Ohio State Trooper managed to locate the cows and contact their owners.

The cows were on their way home by 2:15 am.
