Aroma J. Traylor, 95, of Portsmouth, passed away Monday, March 1, 2021, at her home. She was born March 11, 1925, in Little White Oak, Greenup County, KY, a daughter of the late Leatha Dillow and Charles Osborn.
Aroma was a gifted homemaker and a member of the New Life Christian Worship Center.
She was preceded in death on June 12, 1995, by her husband, Henry Howard Traylor. The couple was married on April 17, 1943, in Greenup, KY.
Surviving are two children, Donald William (Sheila) Traylor of Columbus and Bernadine (Rev. Mike) Gifford of Portsmouth; and several, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Aroma was also preceded in death by her son, Danny Charles Traylor; three brothers Clyde, Elwood and Bernard Osborn; and son Donald’s late wife, Linda Adkins Traylor.
Private services will be held at her request. Arrangements are under the direction of the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth.
