Two grownups got into a scuffle at a child’s pizza party. A woman told Portsmouth Police that she was attending a pizza birthday party for her nephew at Giovanni’s in Sciotoville when a woman who was not invited to the party showed up and attempted to enter the party room.
The child is at the center of a custody dispute, and the woman said she attempted to prevent the uninvited woman from coming in. She says the woman pushed past her.
Police had been dispatched to the scene and removed the woman from the party. However, officers said it was not enough to warrant assault charges. They told the woman if she feared the other woman might harm her, she should get a TPO.
