Aaron Donini, 42, of Wheelersburg

Aaron David Donini, 42 of Wheelersburg, died Wednesday, December 30, 2020, in Kettering Memorial Hospital in Dayton as a result of a two-vehicle accident.  Born on July 29, 1978 in Portsmouth, he was a son of Jerome and Beverly Bailey Donini and was a salesman for Clarkco Bingo.

Aaron was a graduate of Cambridge High School and a member of Portsmouth Baptist Church.  He was a former operator of Wheelersburg Raceway and a member of Xenia Eagles and New Boston Eagles.  He was a lifelong Raiders fan.

Preceding him in death were his grandparent, Dan and Jean Bailey and Louis and Miriam Donini and an aunt, Dottie Donini.

Surviving are his wife, Paige Piatt Donini, two sons, Avery Donini and Evan Brickey, both of Wheelersburg; three daughters, Morgan Donini of Xenia, Ryen Donini of Wilmington and Peyton Donini of Wheelersburg; his parents, Beverly and Jerry Donini of Wilmington; a sister, Toni (Ernie) Scott of Clarksville; his mother-in-law, Peggy Piatt of New Boston; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws.

A service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 5th, at Cornerstone Church of the Nazarene in Wheelersburg with Pastor Matt Hancock and Daniel Whitley officiating.  Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park.

The family will receive guests at the church from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday.

Masks will be required for admission, but not furnished by the funeral home.  Social distancing will be observed.

Arrangements are under the direction of the BRANT FUNERAL SERVICE IN SCIOTOVILLE.

Aaron’s family can’t speak highly enough of the outstanding care he received, including keeping the family continually informed and giving personal attention to detail.  A big THANK YOU to the Kettering staff because it was apparent, they CARED!
