Just after 5 pm, officers responded to the 5400 block of Gallia after a witness reported hearing 20 to 30 gunshots in the area.
Police checked around the area, including a look at the homeless camp near the river, but did not find anything suspicious.
Around midnight, another caller reported hearing two gunshots in the 1700 block of 5th Street. Just a few seconds later, a second caller said he heard three more shots in the 1200 block of Offnere.
Police were unable to find anything suspicious.
Overdose Reported on Jackson Street
Officers responded to a report of an overdose in a PMHA Facility on Jackson Avenue at 8:48 am When EMS arrived at the scene, the 30-year-old man was alert and refused further medical treatment.
